| Glassware designer, Kay Young, has created these pieces incorporating her keen design sense using baked-on metallic and enamel paints under glass. This techniqe, painting layers on the backside of glass, allows her to blend, shape and color through sponging, drawing and combing which resluts in a rich, complicated surface design.
Kay Young Glassware has been featured in magazines, upscale catalogs and finer retail stores throughout the United States since 1994. She currently works out of her studio in Nebraska shere she relocated from the hectic pace of California in the summer of 2001. |
