| I first started stringing big plastic beads at about age 4. I entered our community's craft fair in 4th grade. I met a woman there who showed me how to make silver links from raw silver into chains. I fiddled around with this new skill on my own for awhile and then signed up for art classes which really improved my skills. The bead method I use is called lampwork which is working with hot glass and melting beads onto a dowel. My future plans are to go to art school full time after high school, which is 3 years away!
